Attorney Caini ZENG graduated from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and obtained the Master in Law degree. Prior to joining RICC & Co., Ms. Zeng worked as an associate in the Shanghai office of a US law firm, where she mainly provided legal services to European and North American clients in relation to their investments in China. Besides, Ms. Zeng had worked as a legal advisor in a large subsidiary invested by a US company, where she mainly handled legal affairs related to corporate compliance, IP management and prorection.
Ms. Zeng has extensive experience collaborating with foreign lawyers to resolve clients' cross-border legal affairs. She has collaborated with foreign lawyers in a number of projects to serve European and North American clients in landing in and exiting from China, as well as to provide legal services related to corporate compliance, cross-border IP rights protection, franchising, and foreign-related litigation.

For consecutive years provided daily legal consulting service to a subsidiary of an Australian manufacturing company and a subsidiary of a Spain manufacturing company, drafted and reviewed legal documents concerning the subsidiarys’ corporate compliance, labor and employeement, and assisted in handling labor litigation;
Advised a US trading company on investment structure for landing in China and assisted in the establishment of a Hong Kong subsidiary, and advised on the establishment of a foreign-invested company in Mainland China; assisted in the management of the client's eight suppliers in China, and advised on the combating of intellectual property rights infringement by the suppliers;
-Represented a South African company in defending and re-examining a domestically registered trademark in a revocation proceeding, resulting in helping the client maintain the registered trademark.
Assisted a US company in setting up a WFOE in Shanghai and advised on the hiring of Chinese and foreign employees;
Advised a Spanish manufacturing company on the liquidation and dissolution of its domestic subsidiary;
Represented a British trading company in domestic litigation and assisted in enforcing the judgment made by the court;
Assisted a JV insurance company in preparing for litigation in an insurance contract dispute by working with US attorneys to collect evidence overseas.
